The struggle of a cross country move right after earning my degree solidified the importance of the continued growth and development of my skills. While I was introduce to so many concepts and technologies in college, I feel exposure was intro at best and retention needed follow-up and constant re-exposure. (Of course I did not prioritize that in my schedule for six months, and I am really feeling that now. Back on track I go.)
Fast forward months later. I feel like I am starting all over again. I dumped every project I had for my portfolio as I did not feel I could speak them in any real way. I also wanted to redevelop the projects I had for practice anyway, so guess it’s a win? Now looking to DataCamp, Kaggle, Udemy and YouTube to practice, and try to develop a daily routine of skill development. The plan is to solidify actual industry certifications well before the end of the year. Impostor syndrome is very real and hitting pretty hard. I know you’re supposed to apply anyway but really doubting my abilities and skill set. I will get there though!
