Barista to Big Data

Lots of updates since my last post, 5 months ago, ooops.

Still plugging along trying to further develop my skills in data analytics, progress is slow but sure on that front. While this journey is not linear and constantly reminding me so, it has, fortunately, still been forward.

Which brings me to other news, I finally can say I will be getting experience within a technology department. Next week I will be starting an amazing opportunity in the TLA role of Technology Sourcing: SCAP Fellow for Starbucks.

My biggest career transition insecurities, beyond never thinking I am skilled enough, are not having any actual tech role experience on my resume and the lack of networking I have with other people in technology roles. This role will help me tackle all of these, all while I can still develop my analytical skills.

Since my last post I have also completed and uploaded one project, utilizing data to create a dashboard in Excel, to my online portfolio. Yay for more forward momentum!
